Miravet Castle

Miravet (Tarragona)

Fortress that dominates from the 9th century the lower course of the Ebro and the small town of Miravet. Built by the Muslims, the Miravet Castle was extended and converted by the Knights Templar into a castle convent and headquarters of the of the Order of the Temple.
