Castles and fortresses in Catalonia

Along the Catalan geography the traveler can find fortified buildings of many types and sizes, remains from the Medieval times and the following centuries. In Catalonia there are about six hundred castles, fortresses, watchtowers and walled towns distributed throughout the whole country.
