In order to recognize its exceptional universal value, Unesco has included in 1984 the Milà House in the list of World Heritage, together with others other works of Antoni Gaudí. At present, the building is the headquarters of the Catalunya Foundation - La Pedrera and houses an important cultural center that hosts exhibitions and artistic manifestations of high level throughout the year.
✔ The façades, winding and sinuous, that look like a rock shaped by the waves of the sea. The wrought iron balconies with the form of a seaweed bring even more imagination to the ensemble.
✔ The roof, designed as a viewpoint. The fireplaces and ventilation towers designed in a very original way form a truly fantastic landscape..
✔ The interior, very functional and rich in decorations. The two courtyards are really spectacular. On the fourth floor it can be visited an apartment furnished and equipped as the bourgeois homes of the first decades of the 20th century.
