Located in the municipality of Begur, Sa Tuna is one of the most beautiful and picturesque beaches on the Costa Brava. The place has a spectacular landscape value. Its clean and transparent waters, the typical fishermen white houses, with touches of color in the portals, the stranded boats, the golden-coloured rocks, the abundant vegetation, all these elements together contribute to the magical charm of this small cove.
On one side of the cove is the Sant Pau Cave, which offers good shade on the hottest days. In the summer months in the cave are performed concerts of habaneras, a very popular musical genre on the Costa Brava.
The best time of year to swim here is in June and July, when there are not so many people and the waters are very calm. The beach is gravelled and offers the basic services necessary for a perfect day.
