The church, which is preceded by a porticoed atrium, has a Latin cross plan with three naves separated by cruciform pillars and topped by semicircular apses, with a non-striking transept. The larger central nave is very tall and covered by a spectacular barrel vault. The two side naves are much narrower, with a groin vault. The presbytery and the central apse are higher, since below there is an interesting crypt.
The decoration of the church, very austere, corresponds to the Lombard Romanesque style.
✔ The two tombs attached to the walls of the transept. The largest is the mausoleum of Ferran Joan Ramon Folc Duke of Cardona, in the Renaissance style.
✔ The dome supported by four horns, with a central oculus, which crowns the transept. On the outside it becomes an octagonal lantern tower.
